Main story 'fluff'

Ok. The game is great. Awesome improvement. Fates are great for xp/seals and something a little different. Love the world and how easy it is to get around. Yada yada yada I could go on and on.

But this is killing me.

Why oh why am I asked, after killing ifrit, to deliver tea to guards on watch? To run stupid errands all over the place for no name people because they don't feel like helping right now? How about this titan story where I need this guy to tell me how to access titan but instead he's making me kill rat nests and gobbues? Then he sends me off to another guy who doesn't believe I'm strong enough to kill titan so I have to do MORE tests to prove myself. Dude. Seriously?

It wouldn't be a big deal but there's more filler and fluff than the actual story. I find myself literally spamming the mouse to get passed the stupid dialogue about I don't care what until I actually get to the quest that says "xxx will now help you with yyy".

SE you did a great job with the leveling experience. I can do fates in 5 minutes and burn anywhere from 5-20k xp easy pre 30. I can spam dungeons for gear and get xp as well. I can do silly quests in hubs and get more xp. I do not need a stupid fluff story. It's literally killing me how stupid these requests are after I've downed a primal(which I keep bringing up because I duno, I thought it was a big deal).

Please, please, please, please do no make the future main story missions like this. We don't need the silly/stupid fluff quests for xp. We have quests/fates/dungeons for that, which are so much more entertaining than wiping out three mobs here or filling up a bucket of water for an npc.

I agree. Many times doing missions I felt like they should just be regular quests. Main storyline is supposed to be EPIC! Not like.. oh hey, kill these lvl9 lizards because we want lizard egg soup. Or something.

Agreed. All those quests can stay, but they shouldn't be stuck right in the middle of the main story. They should be side quests.

Been trying to figure out information for a specific NPC, and i've been running around delivering tea, and collecting horns because APPARENTLY THAT'S IMPORTANT IN A CRYSTAL STORYLINE.

I was running around doing the main story then out of the blue it told me to something silly to do, but I don't mind , they probably dropped thos quest in the middle of the game thinking that the players would like the change in hardness to have a small quest doing somthing easy for a change >,< but I don't know, its just how MMO's work in most mmo's its not all ways action, action, action. Me sorry to here your mad about the tea quest I hope you can figure it out and get back to having fun. ^ω^


But I don't really care if they have quests like this ^ω^ I'm just having so much fun playing, I hope to see you all in game soon (once that part of the sever comes back online that is hehe)

I freaking love the story and I refuse to level any other way at the moment. To each their own I guess =p.
