Post questions or problems regarding Early Access and Preorder Codes here

Been trying to find more info for 1.0 players that are NOT* Legacy and how I can get early access code without having to rebuy the game.

Obviously cannot find this information anywhere, Is there anywhere I can buy just the code itself for NA servers? Or am I stuck with the masses and playing on Mon/tues?

Any help is appreciated.

On the lodestone's main page. The first post right now at 2:02PM-EST (Just in case they update before you see this.) is about Early Access.

"We are pleased to announce that Early Access for FINAL FANTASY XIV: A Realm Reborn will begin on Saturday, August 24, 2013 at 2:00 a.m. (PDT)!

* Participants of Early Access are eligible to play straight into official service, which will begin on Tuesday, August 27, 2013.
* Those who have either registered a pre-order code or fulfilled the requirements for Legacy status are eligible to participate in Early Access.
* The game client from Beta Test phase 4 (open beta test) can also be used as the game client for Early Access. You do not need to uninstall the Beta Test phase 4 client and install anything else."

If you really want the EA, you can go to a store that lets you do minimum preorders. (I.E. Gamestop where you can drop five bucks on a preorder.) And then just like, never go pick up the game. Just make sure you check your receipt for the pre-order code before you leave. Or make sure they are still providing them I guess.

Based off these, I would say you must be legacy to get into the early access.

If thats the case that kind of pisses me off. Nevermind the fact that i spent extra money on the original Collectors edition. Anyone with a CE should have early access old or new.

I called up gamestop and got a new preorder code due to the ps3 code error and it not being able to be used for pc ea. Used the new code and selected pc this time and got the 20 digit code and activated ea on pc just fine. I'm a non legacy 1.0 CE owner

no...I still have the same ps3 preorder. he just gave me a new preorder code over the phone when he looked my name up and saw I had an active preorder.

He was curious because he bought the 1.0 Collector's edition. He thought you were able to get a code without purchasing the game (a second time).

Anyone know information about pre-order items are they for all characters you have? Cause for me and noticed from other posts that when trying to link PS3 to your account it only list one character even if have more then one character.
