There doesn't seem to be a live chat option for ff14, I've only seen it under ffxi. I've tried accessing that one, but it says it's unavailable, even though the hours say 9am PST.You have to start by creating a ticket on their support site http://support.na.square-enix.com/, somewhere along this process you'll have the option to go to either live chat, or email chat. Hope that helps!
Strange! I was just talking to "Agent Thomas" on their live chat who reviewed my ticket, asked me for my reg code, where I bought it from, and link I was trying to input the code into. He verified my ticket details and gave me the info about the further investigation taking place. Hmmm :/ Did they shut down their chat within the last 20 minutes?
Edit --
Oh... wow, I see how I got into live chat now. I chose "FFXIV" for my game and not "FFXIV:ARR" (Which is at the very bottom of the list of final fantasies to choose from.) lol... well, he seemed knowledgeable about the issue at least![]()

@seraseth I've been trying to find the chat support also for the past hour. I think it disappeared. They might have disabled it. I'm now on queue on the phone.
"Ring x 6. All agents are currently assisting customers. we appreciate your patience ,and we'll be assisting you in the order that your call is received. Please be sure to have your ticket number ready. If you have not done so already, please visit the support center at support.na.square-enix.com to obtain a ticket number. If already have a ticket number, please continue to hold for the next customer service representative.
I am currently in the queue waiting for chat support, and not for FFXI, but generic chat support. I will see if I can find the direct link to it.@seraseth I've been trying to find the chat support also for the past hour. I think it disappeared. They might have disabled it. I put in
"Account/Billing"
"Registration Information"
Typed "Cant register for early access FFXIV" in the box
Click next.
The next page will have a link to related support articles, I had 1 - "What am I supposed to do with this registration code that came with FINAL FANTASY XIV?"
It says click next if this isn't relevant; click next.
Scroll to the bottom of the next screen. It will have "Attention: North American support is open blah blah"
Followed by Email, and Chat.
Click chat, fill in the form, and click next. After that, it will load up the chat window.

What phone number are you using? I keep getting a busy signal and no queue. And yes, a direct link to a chat support would be great, it's a pain to find anything on their site.
Edit: tried ffxiv instead of ARR and found live chat! thanks!
Edit: 149 in queue :P
Edit: I'll post whatever they tell me about the damn EU code issue when I get through.

You need to log in to get the live chat option
This is very stupid I woulda just made a site to convert the ps3 codes from eu to na problem solved. im still stuck with an EU ps3 code and is already the 22nd.
I imagine their solution is we'll get new codes but uh... Not sure how to exchange that info. Is there a PM system or are our email addresses listed somewhere on here?
Edit, i have an mmo-champ account. "Leare315"
