    pretty much all mmorpgs ive ever played have increased the level caps thats what i mean by normal. and the ones who are setting their cap have already raised their levels high enough that it would just start getting rediculous but they did raise them to higher levels. everyone wants to reach higher ranks it makes them feel better. and its like OH YEAH! i get to rank up again im so bored of staying 50! i get to level up my job again woot! people get excited about that people dont get excited as much about only system changes.

    People don't get excited about levelling their characters. They get excited about doing meaningful stuff with their characters. Grinding is the epitome of meangingless if it is only there to serve itself.

    you shouldnt be forced to grind to level in the first place and yes people do actually like leveling up.

    yeah there is a big difference between nerfing an already easy mob in the nm's that could be beaten by 2-5 people just because the group sizes dropped to 8 from 15 and allowing level cap increases to be able to compete with the lvl 99+ mobs already in the game. by regular math 3-5<8 which meant they were already beatable without making them laughably easy.

    one made mobs too easy and the other would allow you an opportunity to compete against the others.

    yes, i do have a major issue with the nerfing of the mobs that they did. if you were not good enough to beat those already easy mobs then you have bigger issues than a level cap.

    Logic dictates that if a mob was easy at R50, getting to R99 would only make the mob even more easy.

    You're really going to fall back on the .dat files to prove your point? What so just because we are at R50 means we can never get any new skills?

    They can keep implementing new skills and spells without raising cap. I still fail to see your point.
