yes. we know they have ways to progress without a cap increase....such as nerfing mobs even more than they already have. in fact i hope the end cap winds up being 99+ per class that way the ones of us that do enjoy to explore/rank can do so.

You seem to have a problem with nerfing mobs, and yet raising cap would only make them easier. Get a real point.

yeah there is a big difference between nerfing an already easy mob in the nm's that could be beaten by 2-5 people just because the group sizes dropped to 8 from 15 and allowing level cap increases to be able to compete with the lvl 99+ mobs already in the game. by regular math 3-5<8 which meant they were already beatable without making them laughably easy.

one made mobs too easy and the other would allow you an opportunity to compete against the others.

yes, i do have a major issue with the nerfing of the mobs that they did. if you were not good enough to beat those already easy mobs then you have bigger issues than a level cap.

Logic dictates that if a mob was easy at R50, getting to R99 would only make the mob even more easy.

and that mob will be considered mid level by then not high end. those nm's now will no longer be saught after so the casuals that wanted access can have all they want and the higher level people will be moved onto other higher level things.

follow logic since that seems to be missing.

if a mob was already easy then it did not need to be nerfed at this rank.

lvl 99 mobs at this point you have no shot at even damaging. increasing the cap will allow people to fight those.

if the cap was raised to 99 nobody would care about the nm's that are in the game now and move towards harder mobs.

using your logic if a rat is easy at r1 why should you level to r50.....oh that's right to get more content and tougher mobs.

You don't need to raise cap to increase content.

and you don't have to keep cap at 50, which is done easily in a few weeks, if you want the game to be a long term success.

this is not a rpg they expect you to play a few weeks and do everything in the game and move to another. they expect you to pay monthly fees and get you for the long haul. to keep people for the long haul things have to be altered to allow for more new stuff since everyone has the old stuff. even new mobs if they have everyone at 50 everyone is fighting over the new gear that comes out so you get stuck in the same i wait for 8 hours and never fight so and so mob.

cap increases must be done periodically just to allow a part of the base to move away from the cluster in the middle. am i saying i want it to jump from 50-99 at one time? no, i am saying even it if is 10 levels every 6 months to allow a little spread in the groups is fine. it could even be less as far as i am concerned. let them figure when the majority of the base is in the next range then make a decision.
