SE did say that books were arc/smn main weapons. But people forget that the game is still in beta, everything is "subject to change". To me that job looks like a scholar, and making scholars having a book as main weapon makes more sense to me. Again, thats just me. Maybe smn will end up having a new weapon, or maybe smm and sch will share the same weapon, or maybe there will be different types of books. Rember that there were staves and wandsfor whm only or blm only. No one will know for sure until SE announces somthing about it and the game comes out.

By the way, I'm posting this assuming that the job in the picture is a scholar. I could be/may be wrong.

We've been told that ACN books are grimoires, but I agree that that could have been SE lying to wind us up. If SCH gets the same books then they'd probably be referred to as Tomes.
