How about "Kobold Bloemoensyn" (blue-moon-son)? >:3Luckily cobalt ore originally had the german name Kobold ore to represent 'goblin' ore. So it fits with the germanic roots and doesn't sound too different from the original as well. The only downside is that the beastmen in the Limsa area are called Kobolds... so I would imagine Hyurs calling my character's mother a Kobold instead of a Sea Wolf, and possibly being denied residence at Limsa.
I would most likely have to change the last name completely which I don't mind, I was kind of planning to change it if possible anything. I'll have to look up the celtic words that fit in with blue hues, or the god's wrath.
