Yeah the beta might not get released today but it likely will within four days. If not on the 15th, then on monday. Although I hope it is on the 15th so I can download the client, log into the forum and make a place for myself there. Also want to make sure my name isn't taken for the beta test if they don't migrate forum names.

He wants to announce it globally. Its not the 15th here yet. The media, and beta start date very well could be released any moment now.

Although it might not be released tomorrow (beta) (15th US time) it very well could be. If not tomorrow most likely before or on the 18th the perceived latest. If it in fact is released after the 18th I will be dumbfounded, but not surprised.

I am legacy so should get beta key but I did fill out my beta application just recently to show I would like to beta for PS3. So it will kill me if for some reason I do not get a legacy key because I said I would beta PS3.

I am willing to make great personal sacrifices to beta all that I can. I am such a giving person. Please, hold your applause until the end.

I'm for it! Letter has Benchmark Link and Beta date (hoping 18th), and beta invites get sent out tomorrow as well (Another I hope that will happen) but we don;t know till tomorrow comes!

are you assuming the day the emails go out is also the day the test begins? I personally don't think that will happen because the beta won't be on 24 hours it will be only be on for 8 hours max. In that case they won't start the beta the same day as invites go out to give everyone time to download it. Second it would be off to give everyone the beta on monday and start it on tuesday since they beta is expected to be two weeks long. So unless they plan to make it 13 days it would seem odd to have monday as the last day to play. Third now given the first and second reason, also consider the live letter next week. This is just an assumption but I think yoshida wants to preview some aspects of the beta phase 1 in the live letter like he's done before. So for that he'll need players. So the 15th make the sense to release the invites. Whether they decide to do that or have it end one day early is up to them.
