I'll take that as a "no" then....like talking to brick walls with FF character portraits pasted in the middle
continue ignoring the point if it makes you feel more comfortable and confident with your own position. pretty typical for this forum.
if they present their argument with corresponding evidence and/or proper logic, absolutely. and as long as people can maintain a fair amount of objectivity in discussion and exchange of ideas without letting their personal biases show, there's never a problem.
note that i never stated any preferences either way- i merely made qualitative statements with denotative language in reference to specific topics/situations. i care only about the principle of the matter, and in adhering to that principle i merely state what is and what isn't, and in in the event it's not so simple- in which situations it is and in which situations it isn't.
when a person takes up a position and fails to provide context outside of subjective personal experience (fallacious), without at least qualifying that their position comes from subjective personal experience and therefore should be taken as such- then no. it's impossible for them to oppose me without me demonstrating in what context they are categorically wrong.
notice how i never said they were wrong in any/every context. i provide the context for when they are, though, and if they can't acknowledge or accept that then i will be unrelenting in appealing back to the princple.
Word of advice: when you take colloquial language out of the equation, make sure you proofread or you might open yourself up to some trolls.
Mmm, prefer text chat over voice chat.
- When I am concentrating, my brain auto-ignores surrounding sound/voices.
Anyway, cleared Ifrit Extreme without voice chat, so it is definitely not necessary.
the "u mad" defense doesn't really work, especially when it's clearly a defensive reflex in response to a perceived slight from me in challenging either your position or your dedication/skill in game
debate and logic have little to do with formal writing outside of academia, and even if it did- these people wouldn't be intelligent enough to troll me over it.

Get a life if you are serious about the ONE game...
Off-topic: I bought two copies of Torchlight 2 for myself and my friend on steam and we had a total blast last night whether we are hardcore or causal.
Good times!
