I checked with Yoshida about if we have any plans for these types of promotions for A Realm Reborn and his response was:

I'll think of something

I wonder if he did in fact put on sunglasses when he said that.

I guess it should be mentioned that was mostly about reward weekends in general, not exp specific.

I would have to agree with everyone on that point. While I have liked Double exp weekends and the like; Rested EXP serves this purpose for getting casuals "Caught up".

On the double drop rate weekend note: Where do I sign?
