It's supposed to combine sword and magic into something more, not spend the bulk of gameplay spamming spells and jump into melee for only 3 GCDs before scurrying back to the back line like good little casters.

    I agree, solo focused leveling without a group outlet in the open world in a multiplayer game is 1 of those mistakes.

    Not really. Incredibly buggy systems, broken PvP, broken class design, attempting to push niche products to a mass market that knows nothing about them (LotRO and AoC being the more noted examples), lack of endgame, lack of content in general. Those are the stupid mistakes I'm talking about.

    No, they're failing because people get bored quickly and move on because pretty much every new MMO has been "the same". The ones that last a decent amount of time deviates slightly in some aspects but ultimately, people still get bored quick.

    Lol you are so wrong. That's like saying people won't buy the next Cod cause it's like the last.... people quit those games for the reason he stated and it's true. The only mmo to do it right recently was Rift. So sck of you making these butt hurt comments cause this game is not FFXI-2

    When doing PT grind you can chat..and be social Makes the grind a bit more fun! But when questing it feels kind of shallow...its like go kill this mob x times or collect this item...no one stops to talk to anyone, no reason to really. =(

    I wouldn't mind questing to be an option for when I don't have a lot of time..or when I want to just play alone, but I would like to be able to PT grind if possible as well. I like being social and weird haha

    Why can't you just do quest with people? It's like leve questing grab some people do it together.
