might quit FFXIV:ARR if the games turn boring and on track game like WoW for TESO. IM a huge fan of TES, series since Morrowind, so yeah for me TESO might kill FFXIV. Yoshi better make sure ARR can keep my interest cause its wont be a name or a studio that will make me play this or that but the fun play.
Idk why TESO is even getting this much attention. Like I said.. It was just a mod made by a modding community..
This is like Day-z / The war-z all over again. I said it would flop and it did.. Why? Because modders made it and they don't know nearly as much as they'd like to think they know.. TESO is a mod. It will almost certainly fall flat on it's face..
I can almost guarantee it..
I've been following it since it started being talked about and it has been nothing but trouble..
TESO is probably WoW rival..as it stands now lol. FFXIV ARR has yet to make a name for itself...and unless SE starts advertising properly..which it might but if they don't...I don't think it will be as big as TESO. There's lots of TESO fans...and they know how to market. Personally I am not a TESO fan.
Once ARR is out though...we'll see right? You never know! Just my two cents.

Well i figure TESO will suffer some of the same problems as SWTOR did. There's never, to my knowledge, been a multiplayer elder scrolls game and IV and V at least focused on tons of quests. The story was never really that great either compared to the world and level of detail. I figure all the Elder Scroll fanboys will try out TESO, but since they have always been single player games i don't know how many people will want to stick around for long. I'm not worrying about it.
I'm making sure I keep up to date on TESO, ArcheAge (I love sandbox mmorpgs), Blade and Soul could be awesome.. but the fact that all the females are just bouncing cleavage disappoints me. I really do prefer realistic armour over bras and g-strings.
- Seeing all this #$@% talking about TESO being a 'WoW clone'.. it's hilarious to see so many people get their information so wrong. Pretty sure if you've watched any of the TESO videos you will know that the game is far from being a SWTOR repeat.

I get the feeling you haven't been following anything at all given what you said.Idk why TESO is even getting this much attention. Like I said.. It was just a mod made by a modding community..

Its a shame that TESO isn't out right now for the devs to study. The game itself is pretty big experiment. I am in love with a lot of the Ideas, specially the Mega-server.
Western Devs seem to love parading around their new ideas and concepts and have, Sometimes glossing over the important things like class balance, character building, and stuff that would actually keep people engaged for months at a time. Its easy to forget that FFXIV has some really unique features from mmo's at large that SE just forgets to mention or don't get address in interviews. The armory system is pretty damn unique but SE doesnt go making videos like "we have an amazing amoury system that lets you change jobs and use cross class abilities!". It's hilarious to me when a lot of the features new games parade around have been around for years in FFXI and other games.
