TESO the biggest rival for ARR?

Dont think a game like TESO can be a rival for ARR since action mmorpg have been failing alot, one big example is Tera the game started has a P2P title and its now a F2P game, players dont really enjoy much action mmorpgs becouse the game gets boring you can almost fight mobs without getting hit, for me i prefer to get my ass kicked a bunch of times and see that i receive dmg from the mobs then dodging them and do the hit and run thing aka Kite.

Last I checked TESO wasn't going to release on console. I'm a pretty big TES fan, but I've only ever played on console and never really bothered with the PC mods. As I imagine the vast majority of TES fans are from console, I'm actually not convinced that it will be such a huge success. I will probably try it, and if it has excellent controller support I may stick around, but my guess is that alot of the fanbase won't even bother unless it releases on a console. The MMO flavor of the monthers will support it at launch, before seeing it potentially crash and burn.

I have however truthfully know about this for a long time. I stayed away from it because the community was well aware of how buggy it was.

I plan on signing up for the beta for TESO and want to see what it has to offer. But so far from what I've seen of it, it has the same feel as GW2. Semi realistic with a hint of cartoon in it...not my cup of tea. If the game doesn't look good I have a hard time playing it (Mainly when it comes to the graphics of the avatars). And i'm sure this isn't a problem fro most people, but it is to me fo sho.

I also talked to people on the actual forums for this game, when it was being made.

Though this is my mmo of choice if TESO gets to play around with tesnexus still, I hope it brings a new generation of player made dats to mmos, so much fun!

TES is one series I never liked simply cause of the bland combat and that game being horrendous unless you are playing in First person and even that does not help. The open world and quest were nice but if a game has bad combat i just can't stomach it, it's something you do 90% of the time in rpg's and in my book it should never be bad.

So with that said the single player games made me never wanna touch another TES game even if it is an MMO.

Aye, in oblivion it was fun interacting with the NPCs and such and doing quests, but the fighting itself is really bland. It's fun to play now and then, the world feels relatively lifelike which is cool- but it just gets boring fairly quickly.
