Achievement Ideas Anyone?

Yoinked? - A friendly passerby killed your monster. Luckily you still reap the reward... Nothing. You're claimed monster was killed by an outsider and it dropped nothing. Excludes NMs or mobs that have no regular loot drops.

Here's some more:

Louisiox's Revenge - attempt to defeat Bahamut by simply praying to the Twelve...
But It Worked Once Before! Oh Wait, That's Right, it Didn't - and then be defeated by Bahamut when prayer doesn't work.
Finders, Keepers Midlander! - recover a certain hyur's missing Bravura from the site of the Battle of Catreneau Flats in Mor Dhona.
Breaking and Entering - get caught entering any NPC's house in any city and attempting to steal their belongings.
Repeat Offender - get caught entering any NPC's house in any city and attempting to steal their belongings more than 50 times.
I've Been Everywhere Man! - visit every zone and region in Eorzea, including cities and dungeons (instanced battlefields do not apply).
Moonstruck - find all remaining pieces of Dalamud scattered across Eorzea.
Hildibrand's New Groupie - follow the Inspector to every city and complete all quests originated by him.
Straying from the Path - turn down Minfilia's offer to join the Path of the Twelve at least 10 times.
Dreamseeker - experienced all possible dreams while sleeping in an Inn Room.

Some really great ideas in here but if I could suggest.. lets not have any achievements that rely on dying in an event. I'd prefer not to see a party chat involve some of the group wanting to fail on purpose and the other half frustrated that they just got half way through to watch a lemming orgy :P.

Also.. we should have some chocobo achievements (raising, racing, digging, fighting with)

I didn't see Stone Throw or Wrist Flick on the bar in the alpha video for DoL/DoH. I don't think we will be able to damage enemies as crafter or gatherers anymore

you never know? Since enemies can most likely still attack you... if a lvl 50 botanist got attacked by a lvl 2 enemy (I know, it can't happen) it wouldn't make much sense for the lvl 50 botanist to eventually become KO'd, although this is all speculation... and if a lvl 50 character did get KO'd by a lvl 1 or 2 monster maybe they should get a trophy then...

Bone Breaker: Have every part of "boss" incapacitated at the same time.

You shall not pass!: Sacrifice yourself for your party (Get KO'ed the same time as the "boss").

Challenge Accepted: Complete a dungeon run with no group deaths.

Speedruns are so 6th Umbral Era... Complete "dungeon" in "X" minutes.

You're out!: Get the kill shot on "boss" using a throwing weapon.

You're gonna have a headache in the morning: Defeat "boss" using Shield Bash.

Girls Just Wanna Have Fun/Boys Will Be Boys/Boys And Their Toys: Complete "dungeon" with a party of the same gender. (Same achievement, just different name depending on your character's gender.)

BOOM! Headshot!: Get the killshot on "boss" as an ARC/BRD.

Can't do this in XI!: Get the kill shot on "boss" while on WHM with a nuke.

What are you doing?! You're feeding the mob TP!: Get the kill shot as BLM with a melee attack.

Zangan's Apprentice: Get the kill shot on "boss" while MNK.

Shishkabob: Get the kill shot on "boss" while DRG.

Let me axe you a question: Get the kill shot on "boss" as WAR.

Grand Company Rank: Get promoted to "X" rank.
