Why would you want a lifetime subscription if your account we're banned or hacked? You would need to buy another lifetime subscription on a new account. I don't think people would opt-in on this type of contract. You give them several hundred dollars but they still have the right to terminate your account at anytime without reason.

You can reclaim a hacked account most of the time (The success rate is pretty high), but as long as you're not doing anything questionable then you wouldn't have to worry about getting banned

My questions to your questions are:
One, why would you worry about a hacked account if you are using an authenticator?
And two, what is it you are planing on doing that would lead up to a ban of your account?

In total FFXI and FFXIV I have been with one account for +10 years. But then again i have never taken part of anything against the ToA, for a ban... As well i have used the authenticator from day one it was on the market.
