What i'm saying is why should you SkyeWindbinder (I'm just using you as an example, this could be anyone) a female player using a Male Miqo'te character who wants to marry me (again as a exaple) a male player using a male lalafel be deny of that aspect of the game?
SedoSan is a flaming jerk. But that's neither here nor there.

There are reasons why SSM should and shouldn't be allowed. The reasons why they should have more to do with people needing to know how to leave people alone to do whatever they please. People like to judge, because it makes them feel superior. They also like to control others and assimilate them into their way of thinking. But the truth is, all people are different. If everyone was like everyone else, then every person on the planet would die of loneliness. At least, that's what I believe. We need people who are different from us. Because only then can we learn to adapt, understand each other, and accept the world and the people living in it.

The reasons it (by "it", I mean marriage in general, not just SSM) shouldn't be allowed in the game, however, is because, as i said, things like that can make or break a form of media and the people selling it. A lot of the people who will be playing this game will be of one way of thinking or another, and they're the ones funding SE's paychecks. Granted, they're not the only ones paying for the game, but a good chunk of them are, and angering enough of them can be devestating to a game that's already standing on fragile legs thanks largely in part to the 1.0 debacle. Yoshi is going to have to tread carefully. Which is why, if I were him, I wouldn't put marriage in this game at all.
