Asking people a simple question as to whether they support something or not is pretty straight forward and to suggest that 550 people would just vote in favor for the ha-has is really nothing more than a pathetic attempt by someone in the minority opinion to justify how it is possible for more people to disagree with them than agree.
Furthermore, asking people whether they support something but forcing them to vote as they would themselves choose to do is not logically sound. It makes the assumption that their opinion of whether to support the option and their own choice were, and should be, mutually exclusive.
That is so ridiculous it is beyond words and anyone who thinks that would be somehow a more reliable way of determining what people's opinion is on this issue has a serious lack of scruples and/or brain function.
