First of all, there is no in game lore for marriage currently. SE has the choice of how to add it in, either with or without discrimination.

Next, it is an arbitrary exclusion, not only against couples of the same gender, but also of couples of opposite gender who happen to play two characters the game recognizes as the same gender for no other reason than to placate small minded bigots.

Lastly, his last sentence betrays his real objection. He calls it perversion. It is veiled homophobia. If you want to give rep to that and hop on that bandwagon, by all means have at it but don't think you'll be respected for it.
This argument is still past it's prime, and is scraping the bottom of the barrel regardless of your rebuttal... As well this is far from a "small minded bigots" reason, if you are THAT keen on getting married play opposite gender's.. plain and simple... you know compromise? ever see that word, do you know it's meaning? If a system YOU want to be a part of, no on forcing you mind you... makes it so you must have 2 shoes same color on both your feet, you get with it or keep walking.

As well your selective thinking is a clear indicator of how much of the big picture you see, you not only misunderstood the meaning of what i wrote but went ahead and made it sound bad... the reason alone that people can't draw the line is why SE, should not even bother with this...

People fighting for equal rights shouldn't have to compromise those rights. That's why they are called equal.

So the solution, in a game where the producer has clearly stated no less than half a dozen times that he wants people to be attached to their avatars, is to force them to level and play another character they never intended to in order to participate.

....Yeah that's perfectly reasonable and isn't asinine in any way.
