    1. Took the time to make their account active (this signs them up for recurring billing? I think)
    2. Then took the time to fill out the Alpha application.

    Its not just picking random inactive accounts, so please stop trying to force feed people wrong information.
    It really depends WHEN he applied, because there are confirmed reports (Nix's husband) of "inactive" accounts getting an invite.

    It could be that they were open by accident after the final event on the 11th, and SE went and ninja fixed it. Or it could still be unfixed as of today.

    It is definitely working the way it is supposed to currently. I attempted to test with my inactive account again to see what would happen. *denied*
