I'm not trying to discredit your concern. I understand what you're saying 100% with the animations. The thing is, sometimes things just don't go your way. Yes, it's unfair, but that's how things work. You can't always get what you want.

My advice: suck it up and deal with it. Believe me, I'm devastated that this game will never have awesome dance emotes, but I don't let that bring down my experience. I enjoy the game, so I keep playing it.
If we just "dealt with it", we'd all be in random servers and coloring our equipment based on their stats.

So, no. I will not "Just deal with it." I will keep informing the team that it's an issue many of us care about and would really add a perfect touch to the game. That's the whole point of these forums. Just let the people complain. What is seriously the worst that will happen? You'll be annoyed? Deal with it. The best that will happen is a game with better animations.

An animation blend or two really shouldn't tax a game in this day and age. Even an MMO.

Is that out of the question?

They don't have a ton of experience with MMO's or PC. Most modern games don't seem to have a problem with it. GW2's actual animations themselves may not look so fantastic, but it can still handle an animation blending system just fine. No latency or locking issues at all. Imagine Square's artists and animators being able to work with that.
