It's called marketing, give away enough to cause speculation and discussion but not enough to give it all away, the boards are full of discussion about the companies so it seems to be working.

The Nose and Ears are not Elezen based. The Hair IS Roegadyn Based so is the Naming convention. Elezen do not spell their names that way, Roegadyn Do.

So did I and like I said I was actually disappointed too. However they never said they were going to give us information about how Grand Companies work. They just said they would release a page with information (in this case some lore and art). It is not the information we wanted or expected, but they never said they were going to do exactly what we wanted in the first place .... That is why I can not blame them or even be mad at them. It will come in time ...

We were disappointed because our expectations were too high, not because Square Enix promised us something and ended up not delivering. They did exactly what they said and that is give us some information.

Believe it would be this patch. Unless they are inconsistent. It wasn't listed in the Patch 1.17 Outline (04/12/2011), but that also specifically said it was a "brief outline".

I believe it is this update today. Otherwise they wouldn't bother with this teaser.

There was a hint though, the dev tag [1003], from the very first line. Look it up, it mentions companies. That's what everyone's hyped about.
