They will also probably test npc/battle stability like they did for the PS2 FFXI beta, or client stability of large amount of PCs on screen in battleSince the Alpha is a stresstest on the servers the testers will likely get a message in the chat that tells everyone to teleport to a certain area and hopefully everyone online will do so so that the developers can see how much the servers can handle. They will probably "ignore" feedback about gameplay bugs for the alpha build and leave it for the beta. Of course players are not just going to stand around doing nothing waiting for a S-E message but hopefully when they are asked to do something they do it.

Hmm.. no email. But Sony sent me an email saying I haven't used my wallet in over 6 months.
"Please buy something."
lol So do I, I want to know that they haven't forgotten that some people do play with 3 screens. The 1.0 start up screen looks hideous on my machine. :P
Do I have to do anything in particular to sign up? Or is just based on "You're a legacy member."?
There's even a link in the message on the Lodestone. Follow that![]()
DERP
That's what I get for not checking the Lodestone.
