Using jump to get over objects like it has been used in idk a mario game, that block is in your way jump over it....all you have to do is not run into stuff. i'd be all for it if there was some purpose.. like brd has to be in the air to use wide volley, awesome.
because the time it took to develop and animate took their attention from something else. as was mentioned before, taking away our more realistic movement animations

Being grounded is a huge immersion check for myself. Being a super hero that stops gods but then cant hop over a tiny ass fence is a train wreck >.>. It also adds better exploration opportunities and faster navigation. But mostly there as a gravity check.all you have to do is not run into stuff. i'd be all for it if there was some purpose.. like brd has to be in the air to use wide volley, awesome.

That being said there is the legitimate counter point that watching people jump around like frogs ruins immersion as well. Certainly they could add disincentives* from doing it in combat and add a delay between jumps to make spamming less ugly.
* (-50% magic resist, armor resist, evasion) ? Ever jump in a fight, its a stupid idea. lol
Regardless I still believe its something better added then left out.
Pretty funny yet so true.

Rofl, just like real life, trying to get in bed~!
Thanks for the laugh :P

hes really talking about realism? if you could jump up a ledge thats 4 feet taller than you, it wouldnt be realism. you'd need dante's double jump. it would be awesome (and realistic) if we could -climb- though.

Things I thought he did good
1) The earned xp system, although unbalanced was cool. You got random xp based on effort while battling...more damage ='d more xp.
2) Invented extremely complex solutions for simple problems
3) Graphics are nice
4) BR system was fun
5) Class/Crossclass skills.
6) Armory and Item system that started from scratch. No recipes, no idea about mats.
7) Thaum Tanking
