By far the worst thread on these forums.

People hated Tanaka's game, and now that they realized they can't get FFXI-2 out of this game, they want to go back.

Tanaka's idea would have been fine if he wasn't too busy criminalizing the playerbase by making everything server side and creating the Market Wards. Let's not forget his ignoring us when we got on our knees and begged for fixes.

Most of the ideas were half-baked anyways. The Class/Physical level system felt incredibly shallow, the world was bland and uninspired, copy paste aside. THM was the go to class for any specific party role, be it tank, healer, or DD. The idea of making the story progress as any class was retarded, especially in a FF title.

That said, he did have some neat ideas like Group Crafting and owning your own ship. But then I look at shit like Chocobo Caravans, and Hamlet Defense, and realize that Tanaka is incapable of making fun content.

The new direction is a far better one.
