I believe the discussion was asking for things he did right, not what he did wrong. I swear I lose brain cells every time I come on these forums.

Gameplay aside, under Tanaka's leadership they were able to put together an interesting world, but because of technical difficulties or financial BS they weren't allowed to finish the story. What we're getting with Yoshi-P is just a bunch of throwback fanservice. I admit I love that sort of thing, but there had better be more original aspects to the plot in ARR.
