Hopefully the Job System is just Titles that have no level and if they do its Ranks of like 1-5 or 1-10 and thats it. Each rank giving you a trait native to that job.

I have to thank Square-Enix for the amazing job they have done recreating Final Fantasy XIV from Scratch. Especially the inclusion of Missing Genders which we petitioned for in good faith. This was proof to us players that the Developers are truly Sympathetic to our requests and that being honest and vocal can pay off with the amazing characters we have who are Female Roegadyn, Male Miqote, and Female Highlanders. Thank You SE, Thank You Community Team, Thank You Yoshi-P.

i think the job system is going to replace the physical rank system somehow. i think they should take more emphasis off class rank and move it more towards your job rank so that way everything cons to ur job level and having high class ranks just makes it easier to kill things around your job level.

Very well said.i think the job system is going to replace the physical rank system somehow. i think they should take more emphasis off class rank and move it more towards your job rank so that way everything cons to ur job level and having high class ranks just makes it easier to kill things around your job level.
Right now the Phys level is more or less a stat bonus to your weapon class. Basically a job system could improve this already existing system by adding abilities, traits and tradeoffs associated to each given job.
I hope the same. certain amount of class levels you get a quest that allows you to enhance your powers or just alot the points similar to a merit system. It would still be cool if once a job is maxed you have a title to go with it.
ex. Master Dragoon(max)
