    Yea, seems to me like the drops don't go to any person's loot list like now, but rather remain "dropped" until lotted on.

    Also, for parties that plan for specific drops and plan their lot accordingly they can keep playing until it drops and they get it guaranteed like mentioned before me.

    I hope that's the way it is too. Doing the same dungeon every night 4 hours a night gets stale quickly.

    I initially thought the tokens would be rewarded for everyone in the party that didn't get a rare, whether they lotted or not. Now that we know it's only a consolation prize for lotting, I feel that's more good news than bad.

    It means the tokens will also be uncommon, and in turn any gear obtained by them won't necessarily need to be junk.

    I believe they told us they were going for a 'need, greed, pass' type of looting which I was hoping would mean it went to a central loot list and not directly to each person, but I don't think we know this for sure.

    Im quite sure that it will be a central loot system for the whole game, no longer auto looted like it is now.

    For this dungeon stuff only though it looks like you can only need, not greed. So you spend your token and that is it. No picking up the item rot.

    Well, reading about this roll system, i find it very restrictive and punished, how come if you roll and not get lucky you lose 1 of your 4 chances to loot, as some say, there wont be any pugs anymore to start, and if you're not lucky enough you get a token for lesser gear, wtf, i've been always positive with this game, but how the hell are we going to be leashed all week to try content? And i find this consolation price very annoying, is better having 3 chances to loot and if you win you loose one chance, but at least is better than beating content and not getting anything, i give you that...

    Once people lose their chances to loot, wont go to any party...will be the same when they delivered the surplus system and that token system sounds like tiers, too WoW for my taste, thats one of the things that screwed that game WoTLK

    The system sounds fine to me but, IF the tokens given to the "unlucky" players are for lesser speced gear, then the entire system is a bust and pointless to even implement. The entire point is to give those unlucky players a sense of progression, and adding cheap/crap gear that you will hardly use until you get the drop you wanted all along, makes no sense to me.

    As it currently stands this is how I see the system. You can "lot" via the new need/greed system 2-3 times per content in any given week. If you fail you're given a token that can be exchanged for either the equal gear/lesser gear (unconfirmed). HOWEVER I don't believe this system is intended to replace the system players use currently with randoming. So technically you probably still can random/pass like normal but they added the need/greed method as a means for these people to obtain some progress in the dungeon. There will of course be lockouts, but 2/3 lots per person per week would make it impossible to obtain loot thus I don't feel it's the be all and end all.

    So we probably can still do what we normally do. That's how I see it, but it's speculation.

    EDIT: Thinking more on this idea. It would be havoc and a mess once people run out of lots. The winning lots are more then likely official ones so they would get the loot no matter what, but what happens when you get that one guy in your PT with an official lot, and everyone else doesn't have one. BAM item snagged and your fucked. Official/Unofficial lotting sounds like a pain. lol

    I'm looking way to much into this, I hope they got a good system in place.
