For those of you who don't know, the FFXIV roleplaying community— or what little is left of it— is currently rather fractured. I wasn't there when it began, but sometime back there was a big fight over the Role-Playing Coallition's charter that formed a rift in the community. The charter was scrapped by Kylin back then, but apparently that didn't seem to fix anything, and everyone continued to take sides.

Lior, this is why your website confuses me. Why would you make a website that will undoubtedly compete with the RPC— whether you intend it to or not, as both have the same core functions— and not expect to increase the rift that already exists in the community?

Many people still see you as one of the main players in the fight that tore this community apart. What are they supposed to think when you make a website that does essentially the same thing as the RPC? Because right now it looks like you're just trying to knock Kylin down and further cement the rift in the RP community, rather than working to unite it again.

There are people who I used to love playing with who I don't really get to talk to anymore because they're on the other side of that rift. There's no excuse for it. The RP community should be united, so we can all benefit from roleplaying with each other no matter what group we're in.
