Anybody care to tell me which filter set up shows when hes charging his acoustic(?) attack?
Been fiddling with it all morning but I just can't seem to get it to show in my log.

Only issue with this strategy that I see (Correct me if I am wrong) is if he uses his defense up buff multiple times in a row and your pld has no shield blocks avaliable. If you use up your white mages dispel you become a sitting duck for the next 30ish seconds until you can get the buff dispelled because you can't really get any damage off on him.Nice job.
I liked how you blew through dps wise on the phase 2 golems phase(not letting them spawn). Makes the monk useless and the extra drg much better dps choice. The one blm going up for phase 1 60% was nice as well, sometimes im up there for way to long yelling at people to pick up the dps.

Good kill though, that was what I had assumed you guys were doing with the 3 drgs when you first said you could kill it that quickly a few days ago but only utilizing one blm for first phase meteors is so ballsy i didn't even consider it due to the fact a resist on a meteor can completely screw over an entire party. Maybe my ls was just unlucky with that though because we would have black mages that were just straight stacking Magic Accuracy still getting resisted. more often than they should have.
At this point though I think it is probably more luck than skill based on whether or not you can complete it too much faster and whether or not darnus is generous in the abilities he uses allowing you to do constant DPS on him.
Primal's weren't directly part of the 1.0 story line (Dalmund). The fact that Yoshida was all about this is a one time chance for this storyline. He won't be in 2.0; to think so is moronic.

The blm on the bottom can still bail out the one at the top if he resist. Actually the brd can do this as well. If your tank is good he can dodge the moves pretty well himself. You shouldn't need more then 1 whm to help you out there, but I can see times where you are waiting on the whm to debuff.

Regarding meteor coverage, yeah, that was our reasoning. As for Plasma Acoustics, I was supposed to PoM my Aerora in case of it landing. Pretty sure I fatfingered it or wasted my PoM on something else on that kill, but yeah, each Acoustics landing can add 30 seconds or more to the fight.The blm on the bottom can still bail out the one at the top if he resist. Actually, nobody said the same thing about primals. We all knew the primals would still be in the game (but they would be accessed differently. It was hypothesized by quite a few that the weapons would no longer be obtainable in spite of this, whidh DID turn out to be wrong. However, rivenroad is specifically part of the 7th umbral era storyline and it won't be there in 2.0.
Ah yeah i didnt even consider PoMing aerora. Just too stuck in the mentality of having safety nets in place in case something goes wrong but with this type of run you are pretty much walking on a tight rope without a safety net for the highest return possible from everything you do.Thanks. Yeah, and there's certainly an element of luck with how many times he teleports or uses Plasma Acoustics vs. how many times he stands there and uses Lunar Dynamo, but I'll be pretty happy with a clean sub-10 kill.

That and they (primals) are directly related to the umbral events. Unless everyone has been skipping dialog.
Its unlikely that White Raven will appear in 2.0 as a boss (perhaps may come spirit haunt us), but it is NOT impossible for the Raven to return - even farther down the line and not right out of the gate. To think so is moronic. Until SE says so, everybody is an idiot for claiming it will happen for sure. Hell SE will spite us for saying it will be one way if we even try. So I guess keep saying it wont be there, they will add it then for sure lol.

Actually, they really aren't. they're only related by circumstance. The primals existed in the game's story before the 7th umbral era events began. In fact, their battlefields existed in the game before this as well. The only connection they have to the 7th umbral era events is the beastmen that are calling them.(Since they are related to the umbral events)
You don't seem to realize what happens to him after you beat him, do you? He's not coming back.White Raven is related to the Umbral event just as much as the primals are. White Raven existed before the Umbral event
