Actually, they really aren't. they're only related by circumstance. The primals existed in the game's story before the 7th umbral era events began. In fact, their battlefields existed in the game before this as well. The only connection they have to the 7th umbral era events is the beastmen that are calling them.

This filter is a real bitch no lie, it is in the general chat window and you can't filter it out. It also will not apear in any other window no matter what your settings are.

it would be difficult to revolve a storyline about a falling meteor without showing the guy that summoned it. it dosent prove he is coming back, just that he had heavy impact on the storyline to this point.

Thats actually pretty good. Because that crystal tower is one of the spear like things from Dalamud right? And he did say he would become a part of it. And there is concept art of a big ass omega ish highly related to Naels look monster. Good for an ending boss.

When I did we used 2 white mages, one fulltime heal one in DD gear to dispel his m.def buff, cure as needed, dd as needed, and keep SS on the melee and tank

Yes, as we saw in the 2nd trailer, the tower descends from inside Dalamud itself (which I thought was pretty damned cool). And he goes on and on about serving some higher authority (but not the emperor) - my guess is it could be Odin, which would be interesting, though who knows. I sincerely hope it's not something cheesy like Cloud of Darkness. I'm OK with the tower coming back, but leave her out this time. Amon is likely to be in there as well but again, I doubt Darnus is serving him.


Also, I'm still looking to win this fight if anyone on Ragnarok wants to try. Lord knows I had a group set up but we just couldn't all get together at the same time so it's more or less fallen apart >_<
