Yes, explain to us how its wrong. I'll take HP+30 STR+104 gauntlets over Heavy DL gauntlets, STR+54 VIT+56 legs with HP+375 Enmity+9 sabatons over Heavy DL flanchard.

What are you going to wear better for belt?

What head piece or head/body combo is going to be better then sent celata with 5 MND+20 materias on them?

where are these 104 str gloves with 30 hp?

Edit: naming one peice of DL that sucks does not disprove the fact that DL gear does more than focus on one stats unlike Materia, getting a bonus to 2 stats + atk power and acc is better than having 1 super high stat. In the end DL gear beats materia gear and this thread should die now.

Materia gear doesn't focus on one stat. You can have Cobalt Mitt Gauntlets with VIT+3 STR+103 or you can have one with STR+63 VIT+3 acc+40 or you can have one with STR+63 VIT+3 acc+32 store tp+32

What other piece of DL would you like for me to tear apart with materia gear?

4019 HP, 362 STR, 301 VIT, 341 MND, 417 Accuracy, Enmity+184 (supposed to be militia choker) stats outside of party with not a single piece of darklight. Lets see your darklight gear (which is better then materia supposedly) beat those stats please.

that or it will read why can't i find a crafter high enough to make me anything or repair my gear.

People don't need gear leveling up, people don't need gear in-between getting their endgame drops, people don't need crafters for food or medicine or for specific armor slots where crafted gear should be the best (which I said should happen 2 pages ago).

There is also no way they can implement a system where endgame bosses drop crafting materials to make crafters useful either; not possible.

Then you have players complaining that they can't do anything without being "Forced to craft" Because people are beyond making friends or relying on the community. So you still can't win that way, you can't win either way.

The difference here is that heavy darklight actually exists in game currently. I'll grant that the materia system allows the potential for such a gear set, but lets be real for a second here. Not one of those perfect quint-melds has been created yet, much less 6 of them.

Yeah i think is easier to win the megamillions than quint-meld 5 +20 IV materias on gloves,weapon and hat or quint-meld 10/10 IV materia on pants or quint-meld +30 lightning IV on spruce pattens and so on...and if someone manages to they have the game beat for the next 5 years
