Don't ignore the obvious please, it doesn't make you look any better than the one you're mocking, hell it makes you look worse lol. Lightning is what most developers use to make something look better than it is. Load up models in any kind of model viewer which lacks most shaders and lighting and you'll immediately see that he's actually correct.

Shaders and Lightning manipulation is what make things pretty, not necessarily the models and objects themselves.

It's not "opinions" that shaders and lighting is what makes things pretty or atmospheric. I know you'll defend this to your last breath, but that's basic knowledge lol.

Here's a serious question: Do you think the Dalamund weather effect is just a pretty picture? Honestly, I think defending everything SE does has gotten to you lol, now you're even denying that shaders and lighting, something even yoshida talks about doesn't do anything for graphics and it's simply opinion.

Not trying to be mean but..c`mon now, anyone who follows any next consoles know the one thing every developer talks about with their engine or new game is the lighting above anything else.

However, it does not change the fact that the objects, ground, sky etc itself (which has nothing to do with lighting or shaders look beyond that for a second), that to me "my opinion" that it doesn't look cartoony, and it's an amazing site to see.
