If someone makes a deadly boss mods type addon for ARR would you use it?

What I don't get is why some people care so much about how somebody else enjoys the game. It's none of your damn business. As long as the mod isn't doing actions for the player, does it even matter? It's just presenting the same information in a different way.

People will take any excuse to feel superior.

Normally the 'vanilla' players in XI were bad too, not just in a lack of information but in skill. Yet they blamed things like windower.

Except that RMTs are poisonous to the game environment? Someone else choosing to use addons affects your gameplay about as much as somebody choosing to turn their music off.
Actually scratch that, it would affect your gameplay - that person you may be pugging Titan with in the future that is a bit slow on the uptake might actually get out of range of Quake in time and not cause a wipe thanks to having HNMBuster or whatever it would be called here.

I don't mind add-ons , as long as they do not enhance the gameplay to much over those who will not use it. So if it is just battle information that can be learned or is in the logs and you just don't want to read it, go for it.. use the add on, just NO BOTTING programs. please SE monitor the use of these add ons for quite some time and regulate which ones are allowed.

Therefore, it affects my gameplay. And I want to play the game I bought, not the game I bought + 30 3rd party addons (that may or may not contain viruses)

do you know what you're talking about... regarding anything at all? there are no mods in diablo 3. and they designed the game around the idea that there would be no mods. therefore any mods anyone makes would be against ToS. and while against TOS, that still doesn't make them a bot.

bots AUTOMATE an action for you. BOT is short for ROBOT. ROBOTS are AUTOMATED MACHINES. if a mod tells you something is coming, it isn't automating anything for you. is an alarm clock a bot? are you guaranteed to get up and go to work on time just because your alarm goes off? does your alarm transform into a god damned honda civic and drive to work for you? if the answer is yes- your alarm is a BOT. but i'm pretty sure the answer is no. pretty sure.
