    ARC Archer/Arcanist

    I was lvling ARC the other day and was wondering how it will be to play ARC in 2.0.

    Naming the new class Arcanist is a pretty bad choice considering the short version would be ARC, same as ARCher D:


    How can we solve the misery?

    Rename Archer?Rename Arcanist? Show us your awesome ideas!

    It's pretty much been determined by the community Arcanist would be ARN, much like the debate about Black Mage and Blue Mage back in 2005 since both would have been 'BLM", but they went with "BLU" instead, since even SE said they were determining how to abbreviate it lol.

    Next best thing would be

    Arcanist.

    Just use a different abbreviation. ACN works, different enough that it wouldn't get confused with ARC. The abbreviation isn't the first three letters, the abbreviation for Pugilist isn't PUG, it's PGL.
