Its not about stability, it's about latency.Global would mean, everyone that access's it and have the same stability, sort of.
however people closer to this server would have a better connection than anyone who would be further.
Regional just means it's localised for people say in another continent other than Asia or NA, so the people there will have a stable connection and wont experiance any kind of problems very often.
Correct me if i'm wrong, they're not that much different in a sense.
But the only actual difference between "global" servers and "regional servers," beyond latency, is the label.
This is exactly what i was trying to get at. it is merely a complaint about semantics at this point. people have said they dont care about regional servers as long as one is called "Global/international" and i think this is a silly thing to quibble over for 80+ pages. if what you are advocating for is to only have servers located in a single region and deny the ability to have closer servers all in the name of community then this kind of thinking will only harm the future of any game. you people are smart, smart enough to know that its the game its self that makes something great. look at WoW, they had regional servers, were they EVER harmed in doing that?Quote Originally Posted by ZakarnRosewood View Post

None of you can read, not saying get rid of regional servers, just have global as an option.
This game will also never reach WoW's population, no games will, its the casual homeland, a game would have to be released and have more content day 1 to even have a chance. The fact that it doesnt hurt wow, it because of the fact its the casual homeland, people only play 1-3hrs a day generally, thats prime time, people played FF11 + FF14 because it was different, HNM/endgame ls's on 11 ran 24/7 and never ran out of things to do.
