even FFXI will no longer have 24 hour NM's soon. Its in their Roadmap that they are adjusting Repop times for all nm's.

I have to thank Square-Enix for the amazing job they have done recreating Final Fantasy XIV from Scratch. Especially the inclusion of Missing Genders which we petitioned for in good faith. This was proof to us players that the Developers are truly Sympathetic to our requests and that being honest and vocal can pay off with the amazing characters we have who are Female Roegadyn, Male Miqote, and Female Highlanders. Thank You SE, Thank You Community Team, Thank You Yoshi-P.

Wow.. what is the world coming to.....

What do you people want? The nms to instantly respawn when they die? This thread honestly, and the GD forums in general, proves that most of the people who post on here cannot handle the HEAT of endgame >:T

players become lazy they want short recast on everything -.- i guess most players piss they could not get joytoy or black belt lol. come on when i got my black belt i was happy like hell at least make them 6hour repop.

Top of that yoshi-p said he adding staff for hardcore players even quest that would take a lot of time it be many chain quest to get one item. I sure he even going to add NM that would be long pop.

So just deal with it i'm sure he going to add stuff for players who don't have much time also but to get any awesome staff you have to waste your time for.

there could be fun and fair ways to obtain rare items. Tournaments for example, very challenging quests, random location/time spawns, random loot that could be dropped from any mob and so on

If you consider these NM's endgame you ain't seen nothing yet. Get off yer high horse. Really an overinflated ego over some mobs that will be easy soon is not worth it. Don't insult the casual player. There are alot of ppl that play this game for fun. I know you might consider that strange but there is actually alot of them.

I am not talking about the endgame right now... I am talking about the crazy hardcore endgame I hope for in the future.

The HEAT of endgame is who has a better bot program or who can sit there waiting for hours on end for an attempt to fight something? Why not instead focus on making the mob being able to be popped (you can keep a longer cooldown to pop again) with the encounter itself being more difficult than getting the claim? Nothing makes the it "harder" or "more fun" to sit there waiting on pops with the chance of not even getting it.

No one is saying not to make them hard....but eventually they WONT be hard once you kill it 5 times over...Hence why you need some type of restricting second layer...IE: 24hr spawns, random pops in different maps, etc...

No one is arguing on the difficulty, you just need to make sure that you add something else other than that. Dodore was hard, for a week...lol.

which limits ppl who can't stay up 24 hrs aday. thanks but no thanks guys. Stop trying to make this game into ffxi. If ffxi was do epic, why the heck is it going thru a second server merger.... barely 2 years after the first.

So the next step is to create a barrier where most people won't even see the encounter unless they stand around for hours on end and even then most likely not get a claim? I guess i'd be ok with random pops across the entire zone so we don't see claim bots, although i'd agree save it for much later when there is more stuff for people to do. I'd still rather see, a triggerable pop that can only be done once a day/guildleve reset/week/month/whatever so everyone can have the "chance" to even fight it.
