I know a few JP's that i run with often, even on ff11 i had groups JP/korean i played with and ive asked them why they do that, appart from the obvious and the majority of random NA's are idiots and refuse to research strats and need very detailed info given directly to them which they can not do threw the auto-translate function, its based mainly on the time of the day, during JP prime time, most will invite any NA/EU that responds to them and shows really any effort in trying to translate their shout (via google translate) because if your staying up late, they know your serious, if your playing during your prime time, and you see a JP shout, they avoid the masses of 12yr old idiots that should not be playing mmo's.

You on the other hand dont even say NA only, you go to the point of basically saying "Get your own server, this one is mine".

Just like its a common trait of NA's to get into a JP party and say things like "SPEAK ENGRISH I DONT SPEAK SQUIGGLE" then wipe the party from a lack of gear/skill/thoughts in general.

i didn't say "all", "most" or "many." You didn't use "all" in your first sentence either, but then proceed to use it in the second. Since I didn't say "all japanese are xenophobic", I didn't say anything equivalent to "all americans are fat/lazy/stupid."

Well, I do know a few people who do understand japanese, and from what they tell me, the Japanese are exceptional at identifying foreigners trying to speak their language. However, they definitely appear to look more highly at those who make that extra effort in order to work with them. Unfortunately, it's not realistic to expect everyone to get out and go learn japanese for this purpose. So in short, a very small number probably would still care, but you're right, most wouldn't.

Sorry, but I didn't attack anyone. I clearly stated in the same post that it was NOT INTENDED IN AN OFFENSIVE CONTEXT. Being protective of one's culture is not a sin or a negative characteristic.

For those unable to interpret it in any other way than an attack, I apologize for making a statement that sounds like an attack. I give my assurances that this was not my intention and I will continue my efforts to choose words more carefully.
