Sry I jumped on the Alhanelem (Fighting right now!) bandwagon. Lets all just pop a Valium and return to our regularly scheduled whatever we were doing.
I know the majority of people posting about this being a problem care about friends that did a little content with, but i couldnt care less, it has nothing to do with it, its about the ability to do something around the clock, having multiple prime times, never being bored, if I log on at 4am, I want something to do "thats not solo", actual content and people to do it with.
Your NA servers may have JP/EU people, but its not JP/EU prime time people, they joined a NA server to play at NA prime time most likely because of work or something, there is a huge difference.
Keep forgetting there is cross server content finder in ARR you can do stuff any time of day due to this feature even when there is a lower amount of people on your home server. The content finder will draw people from a bunch of different servers put them all on an instance server and you can run content with them.I know the majority of people posting about this being a problem care about friends that did a little content with, but i couldnt care less, it has nothing to do with it, its about the ability to do something around the clock, having multiple prime times, never being bored, if I log on at 4am, I want something to do "thats not solo", actual content and people to do it with.

For example in a game that has this WoW I can log in a 4AM, queue up for dungeon finder or raid finder and get a group rather quickly and if your a tank you get an instant queue almost.

"content finder" like "raid finder" will be full of gimpy people and for sub-par content.
If you enter raid finder for dragon soul, even way after release, you will find atleast 30% of the group doesnt know the fight mechanics a more often than not there are 1-3 people literally afk "leeching" because they simply can.

Like it's been said a few times. This doesn't force separation, but it kinda does it anyway.
I'm someone who started this game with fond memories of FFXI Ballista and has played for 2+ yrs in hopes of PvP. I can now either start over without my LS on a JP server or go play PvP and lose all my friends. It's pretty craptastic for some people.
Yeah I agree with most of the posts here in that it will seperate the community. I don't converse with too many japanese players but I've always enjoyed the fact that were all together playing the same game opposite sides of the globe. I don't want this to happen.
How is that any different then you shouting for people in FFXIV now making your own group at a odd time, where you get a lot of people that don't know what they are doing how to play their class, missing accessories. Like I did a Ifrit in a pick up group I had 40k total damage, while on the lower end we had people doing 2k, 6k and 8k total damage."content finder" like "raid finder" will be full of gimpy people and for sub-par content.

Honestly, grammar police.
Shouts can pick and choose, raid finder is 100% random. In your ifrit group you should have checked peoples gear or added in the shout "must be experienced", if it wasnt your party, make your own.
