Unique doesn't always mean good in the MMO world. They tried to be "unique" with their Fatigue system... look how far that got them XD.Well what does seperate FFXIV from the crowd?
We used to have.
Best graphics on the market for MMO
Best animations on the market
Gobal Community
Always alive servers
Best Monster AI in the MMO market
Little hand holding
Longevity of the leveling and exploration process
Being able to play everything with one character.
Slowly putting strike marks through all that unique stuff. All for the sake of living up to the market "Standard".
Yes it does, this is why there's more MMOs than UO and AO out on the market, by being unique. They implemented Fatigue to try to combat RMT more than anything, this is well known because plenty of Korean MMOs were also implementing a "limiting" type system at the time for the same exact reason.
