Energy Gauge for Jumps

Guild Wars 2 gauge exists for double tap rolls which are used for strategic maneuvering and evading attacks (and falling off jumping puzzles on occasions where you forget to turn it off). Jumping serves no such purpose in FFXIV, it can be used to hop over fences and rocks but that is about it.

There is no need to spend time on this idea, as so many people are so quick to point out how "pointless" jumping is, it would be even more "pointless" to pour more resources into a "pointless" mechanic.
