They are not taking a decibel off anyones gil, they are just taking it off the total cap....................................I read it that are basically reducing everyone's money to fit the new economy.
If you take your current gil count, and knock the last digit off, that's how much you'll have in ARR
This isn't bad for anyone, regardless of how much money they have, because it happens to everyone simultaneously.
If you had 10x more cash than another player before, you will still have it after. A world wide economy change like this isn't necessarily needed, but it does make the numbers smaller and easier for everyone to deal with.
Its the difference between counting everything in pennies or pounds. except because Gil has no smaller derivative they are manually adjusting it, something easily done with a virtual currency.
See that's what I thought too.
No leeching, No PL'ing, just 100% playing the game.
I miss-interpreted reins translations! my bad
though the way they are doing it does seem like it will be affecting players.
likely the amount of gil handed out will be lower, so everyone needs to fit the new economy?
Nope, they are going to take your gil. So even if you hide it, they will find it. All you rich people are screwed. I say you all quit and give me your gil, I will make good use of it.
We don't have enough topics about this already, thank you for making another one.
Dev, please let's us know about this solution for ppl who have more than 100m gil.
If 1 Retainer can store 999m gil it would be fine..
But if retainer's cap is 99 gil also, what do do with people that have more than 200-300m gil?
This is an interesting situation that has a lot of parallels between it and real world economics.
why do people even need more then 100 mil?
