How is:

Attack Power : +20, Vit : +10, Str : +15, Evasion : -10, Healing Magic Potency : -20

better than:

Str : +10, Dex : +15, Crit Rate : +20, Crit Attack Power : +20

???

- The +10 VIT you can get elsewhere with Melds, if you dont sit at Cap allready.
- Crit Attack Power > Atk ( more hp income )
- 5 less STR on Tricorne, also can be obtained with a meld from other Gear, if not at Cap.
- DEX is acc and block-rate ( idc about the proc-rate, but thats a fact and war needs block-rate ).
- Crit +20 > - 10 eva, healing magic -20 ( more crit hit, more hp from crit attacks )

Not only that it is in fact better for war-DD, the tricorne dont have the - stats, which are actually bad for a war-tank.. well eva is it.

So you are saying you will take the DL-Helm over Tricorne because of the +10 VIT while you dont care about other stats, which are actually a disadvantage compared to tricorne for WAR-Tank?

The Tricorne is a really Decent Head-Piece and if you dont have double/triple melded Stuff i would take it over DL-Helm.

Also, if you use a tricorne in a tanking warrior position which is what half of your argument is based on then you have got to be either high or have no idea how to build a proper tank setup. As far as the accuracy thing goes, if 5 extra accuracy is going to make or break your capability to tank then you need to 1 get some electrum rings +1 and 2 use some accuracy food because thats just plain bad.
