    This thread exemplifies everything that is wrong with this forum community.

    [Person A] starts a thread complaining about [topic] they anticipate but has no way of proving.

    25 pages later, 50% agreeing with [Person A] and demanding an explanation from SE about why [Topic] is the way it is. Other 50% disagreeing with [Person A] but agreeing with [Person B] that this is only because it's in pre-alpha.

    25 pates later, discussion then proceeds to why "pre-alpha" argument suits/doesn't suit the purpose of this discussion, and continues to demand a response from SE for [topic] that [Person A] decides an answer is needed for.

    SE provides a response on [topic]. 25 pages later, 50% agreeing with SE that [topic response] is valid and justified and why the game will succeed, and 50% disagreeing that [topic response] is the reason that this game will fail.



    Can we please just wait for Alpha and Beta to have these discussions, and provide feedback in the standard way? This is giving me a headache...

    The movement of form, including character form, is part of the aesthetic.

    Do i think it all sucks? No.

    I think the video showing off the new enviroment is very pretty. But the environs are only a part of the whole.

    The average of an A, an A, and an F is a C. In my opinion, ARR needs to do better than C and shouldn't be so quick to settle for it.

    Yes they are , SE won't give extra time to Yoshi's team they care too much about their money so they don't let them the choice !

    I don't think this is true this time. Though I can no more prove that than you can the opposite.

    All I can say is that if SE is foolish enough to make the same mistake twice then this endeavor was doomed before it began.

    What a sad day. Animations in XIV was what set it apart from other MMO's. I loved how much emphasis was put on movement and you FELT like your character was actually doing something.

    I love chaos thrust in 1.0. It looks great, you can feel the umph put into it, and you feel like your character is using all they have.

    Then we have 2.0 chaos thrust. While the visuals are nice for it... it's rushed and feels very stiff.

    People need to stop with this gameplay>aesthetics/animations. Gameplay can only go so far unless you have nice aesthetics and making a bright visual won't go as far IMO. People bitching about animation lock are really messing up this game visually. We couldn't have a happy medium for animation locks skills and ones that don't? I don't see why they couldn't do both... Really dissapointed in this information.

    they can't make the same mistake twice , they already succeeded with the graphics ( yeah FF14 1.0 is pretty but really lack a soul ) , gameplay we will still have to see but i don't think it could be worse , and i'm quite confident about the content .
    No they can't make a bad this time , the pre alpha isn't a bad game .
    But SE will not give them extra time because if that extra time don't give them extra money it'll not be worth the risk
