They should have kept the info updated on that page instead of having conflicting information, I'm in agreement with you on that. I'm just trying to say that while the updates weren't placed on that page, it was still accessible, and not just by a hair.

Personally, I think the sudden end of payment options kinda threw things for a loop as well, I don't see what harm there would be in fixing the damage done. If it's meant to be over, they might as well update that page, fix those that activated before a certain date within reason, and be done with it.

Fixing those who got it previously would be an even greater train wreck lol. For those who relied on only october I think they should give it to them. Late October is when they where going to start the beta according to a pdf way way way back in time. They should apologize to any others affected, and perhaps give them 7-30* days gifted (in the long run legacy >> 30 days so legacy players shouldnt get butt hurt on that).
*Up to 30 because thats just a usual number but depending on how recently you joined I think the number being less would be acceptable.

I'm not asking for them to seppuku. Just understand they have been poor in their information locational delivery skills. A regular self run website can update information better then that.. lol

Actually, people who left in December should be flagged both in-game and forums, so we don't invite them into our Linkshells and/or parties. We won't craft for them, neither trade.

Ignore them. That's not your role as a consumer to support a company failing to meet your expectations.

I've been using Nokia phones since 1998, N-series were meh, Lumia were crap, am I going to throw out money at Nokia so they can make their next phones better? Nope.

(And for everyone's instance, I have been paying since January, I have two XIV accounts and several mules I pay because I feel that I get what I want for the money I spend. Not to support SE developing a game.)

I doubt the new players in 2.0 will be hung up on the chocobo as much as they are on the price we get :/ .

Yeah, I've experienced that lol. I worry that the price might cause a larger cry then what WoW had though. And WoW has some pretty excellent cries.

I hope they offer payment plans where when paying many months at a time you can come very close or to legacy plan.

well the One char price is not so far so maybe they could have a 6 or 3 month option that would be the same price as legacy .

As a NA player I know that the player base already has a large split between the NA players and JP players which is really unfortunate because I know a lot of the JP players are really nice people but now you're giving the JP elitists and NA elitists a badge of elitism to wave around and I'm sure they will. Not many people with legacy are going to want anyone that's just starting the game to join their companies or help with content.
