Doesnt change what they did/are doing now (wildly the page is still up, and since its not beta yet I assume they are still getting a straggler every now and then for a reason they shouldnt have gotten).

I've seen alot if you if you supported SE you wouldn't have quit and you don't deserve legacy status. That's an ignorant P.O.V. So me as the consumer is supposed to throw good money at a bad game just to support a billion dollar developer.... I see your point. And before I get any you came 3 months before in hopes to sneak in. reread my previous posts, i started this thread because I ran out of beer got bored and saw a way to get some extra credit in a homework assignment. Having someone advertise to you by word of mouth, and information presented on the internet, are two completely different animals. Assuming that something you're reading was typed that day is an internet no-no. If you're reading some ad someone has pinned up for "Buy 2 get 1 free!", the first thing you're gonna do when you call them up or stop by is ask if that deal is still on, not just grab 3 and hand them your card and freak out once you're looking at your receipt...

Could it have been clearer? Sure, but this is toeing a fine line between unfair advertising and demanding that your hand be held every step of the way. If you can't be bothered to do a little research and gotta have it now now now 'cause there's just no time and everyone else holds my hand, SE should too, then the fault doesn't entirely lie with SE.

Seeing how the community acts on the forums is honestly driving me away from playing altogether. People are so violent and immature, especially most of those posting that have legacy status. I don't want to be playing with these types of people in a community driven game.

I could not agree with this post more, elitism is rampant in both FF mmo's, people who devote their whole life to a game and then get all high and mighty when others don't. 95 posts into what was basically a clown thread and I'm ready to let those people have their game, there are so many more to choose from.

Actually, if you play the game, you'll see that there isn't very much of a "community" in the game either.

They should have kept the info updated on that page instead of having conflicting information, I'm in agreement with you on that. I'm just trying to say that while the updates weren't placed on that page, it was still accessible, and not just by a hair.

Personally, I think the sudden end of payment options kinda threw things for a loop as well, I don't see what harm there would be in fixing the damage done. If it's meant to be over, they might as well update that page, fix those that activated before a certain date within reason, and be done with it.

Here's my opinion. You had to have had the game registered before May, 2012. Odds are you probably played the game before that if you registered it. Anyone that bought the game after May 31st is ineligible for Legacy in the first place so you can't just buy it and get legacy last moment. So, if you meet that requirement you DID support the game.
Then there's the fact that if you paid for months before January 2012, those months don't count. So, someone like me that bought the CE and realized the game was crap at launch and has come back periodically to check on it become ineligible. Lastly, you can't expect players that have quit to come back and check Lodestone or the forums everyday.

TL;DR I bought & Registered the CE at launch. Quit, came back. I've paid $75 for the game and at least $20 in subs why don't I deserve Legacy again?
