As a NA player I know that the player base already has a large split between the NA players and JP players which is really unfortunate because I know a lot of the JP players are really nice people but now you're giving the JP elitists and NA elitists a badge of elitism to wave around and I'm sure they will. Not many people with legacy are going to want anyone that's just starting the game to join their companies or help with content.
I doubt very much that this will be true on the large scale. As a NA player I know that the player base already has a large split between the NA players and JP players which is really unfortunate because I know a lot of the JP players are really nice people but now you're giving the JP elitists and NA elitists a badge of elitism to wave around and I'm sure they will. Are there jackholes like this? Absolutely. Every game has them.
But most people aren't nearly that... special.
I'm one of those people who bought the CE, quit upon the start of subscription time (let's face it, the game was boring), and came back at the start of August. At the time, the schedule said we had until November 11th till the game went down, so that was 4 billing periods! Surely this means I had plenty of time to show my support now and look forward to new neat stuff, right?
Nope. I love that they give people a free month at the end, but because of that, I miss Legacy by 4 or 5 days.
But Shougun is right, I really want the subscription discount. I can live without the mount - if I must show off, I got my Goobue a few days before that ended![]()
