Best way to make gil in this game?

I have AF for all 7 jobs and all relevant accessories to play all 7 jobs. I pug a bunch of Ifrit and Mog fights have 5/7 and 7/7 weapons, so I am good on weapons. I didn't just come back I just play on and off.

So I was searching the wards for upgrades and everything is several million.

Cause double meld/triple meld/quad meld Grade IV is not as easy as hunting Primal, due to luck component. Yes, Ifrit and Moogles are pretty much some of the easiest end-game currently. However I would advise you to save up on gil and don't overspend now, because v2.0 attributes will change once more so nobody know if double/triple/quad meld would still be as good as now.

If you want triple meld, be prepared to spend hundred of millions of gil. A single piece of triple meld STR IV gloves can already fetch somewhere 50m-ish, and STR IV is quite cheap.

You can always do guildleves, if you have the alchemy and botany, you could also craft maddening potion, which sells well, and is almost always in demand.

I try spirit bonding last night. I got a crit 4 materia that sold for 1.3m and some int 4 that sold for 300k. Everything else was junk / npc.

Made about 1.6m profit but I got lucky I would say. Seems like a bit of a gamble could of got 0 worthwhile materias. But I am happy I made some gil. Not sure if I should try it again or not.

That's pretty much what it amounts to, a gamble. I've seen people go through days of SB parties only to end up with a bag full of useless materia.

You could try and do DoL/DoH and just spiritbond while doing that while making money off gathering/crafting. Alot of stuff you can just craft and then sell for npc for profit.
