Noone said anything ever about aegis boon. What does this have to do with it? Both stats have access to it and it's always 703. If you use Aegis Boon while Divine Veil is up you're not being efficient. If you need HP you should cure during that time because you can't be interrupted. Quit bringing up random shit that has nothing to do with the testing because you're wrong.

Apparently maturity is something PLDs in this thread are really lacking. Maybe you all should stack that on your body piece instead. Stufoo and Molly, you're behaving worse than Ace and Grey. Please stop. You've seriously filled up 3-4 pages arguing over 20vit vs. 20def. Really? I could live the rest of my life happily if I never saw the phrase "stop posting" again.

Answer the OP's question, defend your opinion (to a point where it isn't ridiculous and insults are not exchanged), and then move on. Tbh, Judge, I don't think we can count blocks when aegis boon is in effect because you end up gaining HP, not losing it. We can only count blocks done without it.

So 100 VIT or 100 Def over 1000 Damage (physical)

VIT - 100 HP, 66 Def, 66 Mdef, 10% Block - 989 or 900 when blocked
Def - 100 Def - 980

With Divine Veil always on cooldown you're 20 sec/min @ 100% Block
so say every 5 seconds you get a 1000 damage attack.

VIT - 60 sec - 11512 Damage - (Calculations are being estimated at 10% Block (100 VIT), with Divine Veil)
Def - 60 sec - 11760 Damage - (Calculations are being estimated at 0% Block with 100 Def)

Just to clarify, because against high Dlvl, Block Rate is super low, the above was calculated with only Divine Veil, so 100% Block for 20 seconds out of 1 minute.

Well excuse us for us not wanting the people who are clearly wrong to continue to confuse those asking questions. It's honestly been going on for too long and it's detrimental to upcoming paladins to lack clarification. That's where we're coming from. Some may be more blunt than others and that's their perogative, but the message is the same and good advice was provided here, even if a little harshly. I can only apologize for my part in it, so sorry for that. I am trying to help too, but at times it is frustratig when it is the same people arguing incorrect points time and time again. Lol this thread, leave Molly and Ace be, if their choice works for them, it works. I am with Stufoo and Grey on this, i also thinks its not optimal if you wants to beat difficult stuff Garuda or 17min raids. But, i am not here to tell you are wrong, because time will tell when you keep trying and unable to pull them off, but i respect your opinion on this matter except the part where two of you calling people nolifers for beating a content takes 17min to do. Incredibly ignorant and childish.

For new PLD, dont only listen to one side of argument, try different gears and see what works and available for you.
