Could be but what was sad is NA version of the game came with the exact same in-game item but just because I bought the JP FFXIII I couldn't use the code... how silly is that?
Was planning to buy JP FFXIV but bought 2x Collectors Edition NA version since it was cheaper and during beta/alpha learned you can change locale language to Japanese through config so I can play in JP with NA version buuuuuuuuut you can't use in-game item codes since those are region specific...
On top of that JP square-enix account doesn't take credit cards outside of Japan + with current exchange rate you would be paying a lot more for same service... so even if I bought JP FFXIV I would of ended up not being able to play it at all.
