I seriously hope not I hate how its just spam spam spam and no strat what so ever atm...

I actually like to use my brain when playing a game instead of mashing the same button waiting for the mob to die. FF was always about turn based and strategy. FFT was my favorite for a reason Who knows though, maybe they can somehow retain that feeling with this new battle system.
